Tourist attraction In and Around Aurangabad (Bibi Ka Maqbara)

You have read about Aurangabad and which tourist attractions are there in and around the Aurangabad. Now we will visit these tourist attraction one by one, today we are going to visit the tourist attraction which only duplicate copy of one of the seven wonders of world that is Bibi Ka Maqbara. This is a only duplicate copy of the Taj Mahal, which is situated in Aurangabad.


Bibi Ka Maqbara built by Prince Azam Shah, son of Emperor Aurangzeb, one of the Mughal Emperors. He built this tomb in the memory of his mother Rabia. This tomb was built by the architecture Ata Ullah in 1679 AD. The memorial is built of sandstone with plastered walls and has a marble dome. It has a flowery wall around with an entrance which provides the best view of the memorial. The comparison to the Taj Mahal has resulted in a general ignorance of the monument. This monument is also called the Dakkhani Taj or the Taj of the Deccan.
Any time in the year Tourist can visits this attraction, but the best time to visit the attraction is monsoon and winter season means from the month of June to Feb.

  1. Very beautiful. I find the Bibi Ka Maqbara cooler to visit than the Taj Mahal. Those emperors really had a way of building great tombs.
